How do we start to own a home

YOU ARE INVITED!
You are invited to browse and take part in the discussions that follow.

This is the dream that everybody dreams, we all want to own our own home, so that we can feel safe and proud, even if it is only a small place to start with.
In my previous post I just said that it is hard to buy a house, because their price goes up continually; however anybody that is serious enough and wants really to own a house have got to start somewhere.
Money this is the problem. Where do we find the money to buy a house?
Well you will never be able to buy a house if you do not have any money yourself.
So, if you have a job start saving some money, each time you get paid do not spend it all, just deposit whatever amount you can in a bank deposit, you will see that as the time goes by it will grow.
Ask some expert about how much money you need for a deposit before you get involved in buying your place. It is better to start with a small house, so that you may be able to afford repayments of your loan.
Every able person should try to buy their own house, it is worth the effort.

This post has been added later on. It is still about owning a home and I think in makes sense hereunder.

TODAY
The Reserve Bank has followed up on its governor's warning to homeowners, by lifting official interest rates by 0.25 percentage points.

The move takes the official cash rate target to 4.25 per cent, and will move most major banks' standard variable mortgage rates above 7 per cent, provided they pass on the full increase.

RBA governor Glenn Stevens said while lenders had generally raised rates a little more than the cash rate, interest rates to most borrowers had been somewhat lower than average.

"The board judges that with growth likely to be around trend and inflation close to target over the coming year, it is appropriate for interest rates to be closer to average," Mr Stevens said in a statement.

"Today's decision is a further step in that process."

Mr Stevens said credit for housing had been expanding at a solid pace.

"New loan approvals for housing have moderated over recent months as interest rates have risen and the impact of large grants to first-home buyers has tailed off," he said.

"Nonetheless, at this point the market for established dwellings is still characterised by considerable buoyancy, with prices continuing to increase in the early part of 2010."

The 25-basis point rise in interest rates, if passed on in full by the banks, will add about $48 a month to a $300,000 mortgage on a 25-year term.

The National Australia Bank had already committed, before the Reserve Bank's meeting, to raising its standard variable mortgage rate by no more than the Reserve Bank's change.

If it passes on the full Reserve Bank increase, its standard variable mortgage rate will rise from 6.74 to 6.99 per cent per annum.

The question today is, how many of us have already missed out, and therefore may never be able to afford to own a home?

World natural disaster

THIS BLOB HAS BEEN CREATED TO INVITE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO TAKE PART IN USEFUL DISCUSSIONS, WHICH COULD HELP COMPARE THE OLD WAYS OF LIVING TO THE NEW WAYS, IN THE HOPE OF SOLVING SOME OF THE MAN MADE PROBLEMS.

WORLD NATURAL DISASTER

YOUARE INVITED!
You are invited to browse and comment.

Hello everybody!

This is Frank@yahoo writing a post for my friend Manfraco.

In this post Manfraco would like that I start telling you about this story of an old man, who in his old age he never passes the chance to tell you about when he was young; he has written his own life story, and now that he is old he would like to publish it. In his story he likes to compare the ways of his younger life to nowadays living, how can he do it I do not know? Because, as you all know nowadays living is completely different from the time when he was young.

However today may not be the best day to start this comparison, as there is so many other important news that everybody is interested in. So, I may as well go with the main stream and talk about nowadays, World natural disaster. This is what is in the news report:

(PORT-AU-PRINCE (Reuters) - Witnessing Haiti's earthquake aftermath from street level is horrific -- dead bodies poking out of collapsed buildings, bandaged survivors whimpering in tent cities and the stench of rot and dead.
But seeing it from the sky is when the enormity of the disaster that hit the Western hemisphere's poorest nation last Tuesday really sinks in.
Viewed from a U.S. army helicopter flight, large areas of Port-au-Prince are reduced to rubble. Entire shanty towns have slid down hillsides. Swathes of rusty iron roofs look as if they have been sprinkled with debris by a giant hand.
Life in the wrecked city is concentrated in brightly colored patchwork spots where tens of thousands have set up makeshift camps in open spaces as aftershocks frighten people away from the buildings that are still standing.
From above, the cathedral looks like it has been stepped on. The gleaming white presidential palace looks like an iced wedding cake that has been dropped on the floor. Multistory car parks and supermarkets have been leveled like concertinas.
Cinder block houses are so crumpled it seems they must have been built of clay.
Health Minister Alex Larsen told Reuters on Friday that three-quarters of Port-au-Prince will have to be rebuilt. Even in a country less miserably poor and ill-equipped than Haiti, it's hard to see where you would even start.
It has taken three days for the first foreign rescue teams to hit the ground and the first water trucks to do the rounds.
Disaster relief personnel arriving at the airport on Friday admitted it may still be days before they can reach hungry and injured victims with the food and medicine they desperately need.
The government's estimated death toll of up to 200,000 people would put Tuesday's earthquake among the 10 worst in recorded history, and it has happened in one of the poorest and volatile countries in the world.
Looting and fighting over food began on Friday on streets where no police are in sight and there is no sign of government control, let alone any sign of a recovery plan.
"These are bad times the country is living. Who knows what's ahead?" said Antonio Elias, 47, who is leaving his business and flying to his native Venezuela with his Haitian wife and baby.
"It's not easy to leave everything behind. Who knows when we'll come back. But I'm not taking the risk of staying here.")

This is the world disaster of modern times, we cannot help to be sorry and concerned for the Haitian that have survived; the only thing that helps and gives some hope is that most nations are going to help. So, may God help those that are in need of help!

So, if I haven’t written anything about the story of this old man I hope you understand the reason why; I will have to start telling you that story next time.

YOU ARE INVITED!

A NEW SUBJECT

This blog is being changed now to a different subject, this subject will talk about people and their everyday problems, here we want to discuss all sorts of public articles; from the time when people are born to when we die and beyond, anybody that is interested to take part in these discussions can do so in one way or another.
In this blog post we want to yell you a story of a man from his early youth to nowadays, we want to do this, so that we may be able to compare today ways of life to the old ways of life, in the hope of finding something that may help us understand better what is happening nowadays. We are going to tell you a story of this old man, who started to live his life before major changes occurred.
We would like to do this just to compare the old ways of living to nowadays living.
Can you just imagine how people lived 60 years ago?
So, let us follow this old man story when he talks about when I was young; then we may compare that to the present nowadays problems.
This old man story was written from a friend of mine and never published. My friend the writer has agreed to let me use his story here to help me with my writing. Now, since I have the rights to use this old man story, I am going to use this story here, in order to compare the way we used to live those days to nowadays living. I hope it works out well.
People these days have a lot more challenges to cope with, as the ways of life change very quickly, this is one of the reasons that sometimes old people seem out of touch with the young generation. It is the sign of the present times and we are not able to do much to improve the situation between these generations, so, we have just to wait and see what happens next.
As we all know, today humanity is facing many problems and one of the most important is global warming, which if we don’t do something about it soon it may indeed change the face of the earth forever. This subject is going to be discussed also within these posts later on.
Now let us try to write down this old man story, who talks about, when I was young!

TO BE CONTINUED;
Next time we start the story of this old man.

SAVE PLANET EARTH!

THIS POST HAS BEEN CREATED TO INVITE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO TAKE PART IN USEFUL DISCUSSIONS, WHICH COULD HELP SOLVE FUTURE MAN MADE NATURAL DISASTERS.

YOU ARE INVITED!

TO SAVE PLANET EARTH IS THE DUTY OF EVERYBODY ON EARTH, SO YOU ARE INVITE TO DO YOUR PART.

(Forecasters have cancelled a severe weather warning for flooding despite heavy rainfalls across much of NSW.

While official figures are yet to be updated for the past 24 hours, initial reports indicate that some areas may have already received up to 200mm of rain in the past 24 to 36 hours.

"It's raining cats and dogs up through central NSW," Steve Delaney from the State Emergency Service (SES) told AAP on Saturday morning.

"At Dubbo it has been raining nonstop and we have three areas close to there anecdotally reporting up to 200mm in the past couple of days."

The rain is a result of Tropical Cyclone Laurence, which hit northern West Australia this past week, moving across the country to inland Queensland and central NSW.

"Moderate to heavy rain is affecting eastern parts of the upper western, in addition to the central west slopes and plains and the central tablelands," the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) says on its website.

"The intensity of the rain is not expected to be sufficient to produce flash flooding.

"Further moderate to heavy rain is forecast across parts of NSW over the next few days.")

Today news are better than expected, I think they are good news as the danger of excessive flooding may be minimal, we should be happy about all this, next time we may not be so lucky.

HELP PLANET EARTH 2

THIS BLOB HAS BEEN CREATED TO INVITE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO TAKE PART IN USEFUL DISCUSSIONS, WHICH COULD HELP SOLVE FUTURE MAN MADE NATURAL DISASTERS.

HELP PLANET EARTH

TODAY IN THE NEWS:
About Global Warming

AUSTRALIA faces having to make a hefty payout to help developing countries such as China and India cope with climate change in order to clinch a deal in Copenhagen.
Despite Australia facing a domestic Budget deficit of about $50 billion for the coming year, Climate Change Minister Penny Wong told The Sunday Mail from Copenhagen that Australia would have to contribute to so-called climate "abatement" funds if India and China were to come into the climate-change tent.
Reports from Copenhagen say industrialised countries favour a target of 50 per cent reduction of global carbon emissions by 2020 (compared with 1990 levels), but major emerging economies led by China have baulked at any such target unless it is made clear that rich countries will assume most of the burden.

I think that it would not be fair for Australia to help China or India.
I don't know how people can even think about this?
To help China or India is impossible, because China and India are so vast and both have the largest population on earth.
So I hope that they think about something else on how to get China and India motivated.
What do you think about this?
You can have your say if you want.

HELP PLANET EARTH! 3

THIS BLOG HAS BEEN OPENED TO HOUSE ALL SORTS OF ISSUES ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGES, IT IS OPEN FOR DISCUSSION TO THE PUBLIC, SO ANYBODY CAN ADD SOMETHING TO IT, IF AND WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY.
IT WILL FEATURE WHAT IS BEING SAID AND ACHIEVED IN THE PUBLIC NEWS, ALSO WE WILL ADD OUR POINT OF VIEW AND HOPE TO SAY THE RIGHT THINGS?

Global warming; are we doing enough to help the planet?

If today's news is anything to go by, we are far from solving this man made problem.

After some ugly demonstrations negotiations have resumed:

It's up to the bosses now. Years of international gatherings – from Bali to Bangkok to Bonn. Nine raucous, angry and confusing days cooped up in the windowless halls of Copenhagen's biggest conference site. The protesters in polar bear suits. The countless appeals for action – and the forecasts of the life-altering consequences of global warming if world leaders fail to come to a firm deal. It all comes down to the next 36 hours.

As more than 115 world leaders descend on Copenhagen to make the crucial decisions, what can we expect? Nobody really knows.

By 6pm last night, negotiators had produced a text so dense and unwieldy that the Danish prime minister, Lars Lokke Rasmussen, called in negotiators from the larger countries to help knock it into "laymen's terms for politicians". If they succeed, the main issues looming for leaders on Friday will be as follows.

I suppose we just have to wait and see if they will reach an agreement?

HELP PLANET EARTH

THIS BLOB HAS BEEN CREATED TO INVITE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO TAKE PART IN USEFUL DISCUSSIONS, WHICH COULD HELP SOLVE FUTURE MAN MADE NATURAL DISASTERS.
YOU ARE ALL INVITED!

HELP PLANET EARTH, is what I am going to call this blog, which is going to be a collection of several other posts put together, so that they are easy for the readers to follow, so, here is the first one!

Mother Nature Reconciliation
WE ALL LOVE MOTHER NATURE
We must love Mother Nature because we are part of her, if we did not love her then we would not be able to love ourselves, because Mother Nature is every living thing, and this includes us most of all.

MOTHER NATURE CHALLENGE
Nowadays, we the people of this earth are taking great risks, we are doing so many things that are harming Mother Nature, so, if we are not careful we will soon pay dearly, because we are damaging many things whereby mother nature could have been able to make good again the damage we have done.

This is how the whole planet earth could be like?
If we care about our-self and the coming generations we need do something positive to help this harmful situation, don't you agree?

GLOBAL WARMING
Global warming is the name that should make us think hard what we are doing to this planet, we need to pay more attention to everything that harms the natural environment.
You might say that something is being done, since there will be a meeting of world leaders soon: but I would like to see more interest from the people themselves, after all democratic leaders have to follow the people to get voted in.
IN THE NEWS TODAY

THIS BLOB HAS BEEN CREATED TO INVITE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO TAKE PART IN USEFUL DISCUSSIONS, WHICH COULD HELP SOLVE FUTURE MAN MADE NATURAL DISASTERS.

Mother Nature Reconciliation, from Frank@yahoo

Hello everybody!

HELP PLANET EARTH!

Congratulations Manfraco you have started a blog, which should be able to interest all the people on this planet earth. So maybe this is the right way to go, I am very interested about this subject, so, I am going to follow it closely and post many posts, as it is very important for the whole world to take part in discussions about the changes that are happening to our environment. So, let us hope that someone is interested to discuss these issues openly, so that we may have a feedback from the public. Anyhow we just have to wait and see what happens?
I like those photos that you posted, I will be looking for something like that when I post next time here.

My regards to you all, from
Frank@yahoo
